How to use the RVCA Hydrology Information System(HIS) Portal

The HIS Portal is where you can access the RVCA's Hydrology Data. The HIS Portal serves as your gateway to the Hydrology Information you are looking for within the RVCA's watershed. You will be able to quickly search for, locate, and interact with this information. Below is a guide on how to use some of the tools available through the HIS webpage.



How to use :

      RVCA Surface Water Quality Monitoring
      Open the Time Series Analyst (TSA)
      From here you can choose water quality site (1 - see image below for location), and a variable(2) to view information about
      You can then shoose what timeframe you want to show data for (our data currently (3)
      After those three choice have been made you can hit the plot button (4) to view the information you are looking for
      Additionally you can graph the Provincial Water Quality Object(PWQO) for each of the variables you are viewing by choosing the "Plot Options" tab (5)
      You can then use this document to find the appropriate PWQO value and enter it in the "Value" text box (6), you can add a label, then select the apply button to have the PWQO appear on the graph
